Noble Won`t Face Action After Grappling with a Fan

The sight of Mark Noble grappling with a pitch invader kind of summed up the madness of Saturday.

Noble, reacting to the errant pitch invader, clearly won the grappling contest by a submission and two falls as, shamefully, the stewarding at the London Stadium left a lot to be desired.

After the stadium had emptied and the media had prepared their pictures and stories for the back pages, only too willing to pour scorn on what had occurred, there was the suggestion that Mark Noble could face ramifications for his actions.

However, according to the news source, the Daily Mail that won`t be the case, with our captain not to face any retrospective action.

Common sense, on what was a day of madness, seems to have prevailed.
