Hammers Game in Doubt this Weekend
With the country in the grip of a cold-snap that has seen Storm Emma go head-to-head with the Beast from the East, there are doubts that West Ham`s game with Swansea will go-ahead.
The inclement conditions, whereby huge amounts of snow have been deposited on several parts of the United Kingdom, has made travel, in some areas, precarious.
At his pre-match press conference, held this morning, David Moyes admitted he didn`t know if the game against Swansea, at the Liberty Stadium, would go-ahead.
Talking about the travel problems that have engulfed the South West and South Wales, Moyes remarked,
'The Met Office is saying people shouldn't travel, especially through Cardiff and down the M4.
'It is a concern at the moment and I'm guessing it shouldn't be any different for football teams and fans. I think the Premier League may need to look at that.'
If the game is in doubt, we`ll continue to monitor the situation and report back accordingly.
