Hammers Linked with Sevilla Midfielder

Hammers Linked with Sevilla Midfielder

In less than a week the media will be awash with transfer speculation with the January transfer window open.

It`s a period whereby managers try to salvage something from the wreckage of their season and, sadly, after an indifferent first-half to the 2017 / 2018 season, West Ham are no different.

This morning, the Hammers are linked with bringing a French midfielder back to the Premier League.

According to the news source, the Guardian, West Ham are set to rival Everton for the signature of Steven Nzonzi

Nzonzi is currently on the books of the Spanish club Sevilla but the 29-year-old has Premier League experience having played for both Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City previously in his career.

Our source carries some quotes attributed to David Moyes, relating to the player, which read,

"I think he`s somebody who would be of interest to us if he came on the market.

"I wouldn`t say that about others but he`s not playing for some reason at Sevilla - albeit the manager`s gone, so maybe that changes the situation there."

But what are your views?

Would you see the signing of Steven Nzonzi as somebody who would improve the Hammers starting eleven?
