Anton Court Appearance

Anton Ferdinand has appeared in court charged with assault and violent disorder.

The England Under-21 defender appeared before Redbridge Magistrates' Court.

Ferdinand, 21, of Grove Park Road, Mottingham, south-east London, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth before he was bailed to return to the court in a week's time on December 1.

The charges relate to an alleged incident outside Faces nightclub in Ilford, east London, on October 2.

anyone else would get the book thrown at them....he should know a lot better and he has a big responsibility to the youngsters and the fans to not behave like this...he needs a hrad lesson and I hope it is not brushed aside...when the law has hopefully finished with him..then west ham should step in and sort him out as well...please do not walk away from this as a club..deal with it...
