Cole Heading for the South Coast

Speculation is rife that Carlton Cole and West Ham United could be parting company.

It`s being reported in the tabloid publications that West Ham United have accepted an offer from AFC Bournemouth for the 30 year-old striker.

The offer is believed to be in the region of 1 million but the deal has, so we`re hearing, stalled as Cole is reluctant to drop down into the Championship and also reticent to see his 25,000 a week salary chopped.

Although Cole has started in both Premier League games this season and scored against Crystal Palace at the weekend, it`s deemed that the striker has dropped down the pecking order, at Upton Park, with two new signings in the shape of Enner Valencia and Diafro Sakho ahead of him in the starting stakes.
