'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Striker (or Two) Needed!

Time to scout around!

With Andy Carroll out of contention for the next four months and with this season having a feeling of 'Groundhog Day` about it, it looks as if West Ham will be forced into the transfer market to bolster their attacking options.

Aware of the implications of Carroll`s long-term lay-up, our co-owner David Sullivan has remarked to the media,

"You can never have enough strikers and really, with Andy gone, we haven`t got enough."

The only problem I can foresee is that with every man and his dog knowing we`re desperate for a striker, to fill in whilst Carroll is out injured, we`re going to suffer from the seller`s market syndrome whereby the price has suddenly doubled!
