Carroll Out for Four Months Shock!

Carroll Out for Four Months Shock!

From being advised that Andy Carroll`s withdrawal from the fixtures, on the New Zealand tour, was just a precautionary measure, we now discover the truth.

From being a precautionary measure, we find out that the injury Andy was suffering from, an injury that it was suggested needed viewing by a medical team in the USA, was in fact torn ankle ligaments.

In fact the situation is so chronic that the official line being peddle din the tabloid press this morning is that Carroll will be side-lined for as long as four months, meaning that for the second season running our record signing will not be available until we all start to think about Christmas.

Naturally, Carroll is hugely disappointed to find himself in this predicament and has tweeted to his followers,

"Going under the knife tomorrow morning and absolutely devastated to be missing the start of the season."

Here at Vital West Ham we`re almost tempted, after having a gut feeling that all was not well with Carroll, to chirp up with 'told you so` but then again we`re as gutted as the rest of you and we would like to offer Andy our support and we hope that his return to action is a little quicker than is currently being broadcast.
