Carroll Fitness Concerns Played Down

With West Ham now down under, Hammers supporters are hoping that Andy Carroll will play a significant part in the pre-season schedule.

Carroll missed the recent draws at Stevenage and Ipswich with rumours circulating that something might be amiss with his fitness.

Thankfully this doesn`t appear to be the case with our co-owner David Gold quick to dispel such rumours by confirming our record signing has a slight niggle, something not too uncommon for players at this stage of pre-season.

That`s good to hear!
