Hammers Strike Trio Missing?

Hammers supporters turning up at Broadhall Way, Stevenage, yesterday, would have been interested to see Sam Allardyce turn-up with a huge squad.

Big Sam chose to field entirely different starting elevens for the two halves but those who travelled might well have been puzzled by the absence of the striking trio of Andy Carroll, Carlton Cole and Mauro Zarate.

It transpires that the trio were not considered for selection with the official explanation being that, following our recent training camp in France, they had tightness and knocks, and that is without the season having even got close to getting underway!
