Hammers Interested in Rodwell!

Once seen as a major star of the future, the career of Jack Rodwell has somewhat stalled at Manchester City.

Hampered by injuries and the plethora of stars ahead of him in the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, it would seem that the 23 year-old midfielder could be free to leave the current Premier League title holders.

Naturally his availability has alerted a whole string of possible suitors and we`re delighted to see the name of West Ham United Football Club in the mix to sign him.

However, with Newcastle United, Sunderland, Stoke City, Hull City, Southampton, Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion as well as his former club Everton all reportedly showing signs of interest, it`ll be a tall order for Sam Allardyce and the board to persuade Rodwell to make the move to East London.

But, then again, you just never know do you!
