'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fresh Start for Ravel

If a player had two more starkly contrasting halves to a season than Ravel Morrison then I`d be amazed.

The start of the season saw Ravel make such an impact that his name was being mentioned as a possibility for inclusion in England`s World Cup squad. But injuries curbed that inference and the young midfielder then found himself shunted out on loan to Queens Park Rangers where he assisted in their successful promotion campaign.

With the season at an end, it was suggested that West Ham United might decide to cash in on the player, giving both parties the chance to go their separate ways. However, that now doesn`t appear to be the case with it now being insinuated that the 21 year-old will be given the chance to shine at Upton Park.

Ravel, we`re told, was amongst those who returned for pre-season training on Wednesday and a source has confirmed our thoughts by remarking to the media,

"We`re keeping him now."

Well that`s good to hear!

Or it could simply be that's all the rubbish and made up nonsense surrounding the lad was just that, untrue and made up by people with their own agendas and papers to peddle! All we know for certain is hugely talented lad with equally huge demons had good first half to season. His form then dropped and he was loaned to get games and vital experience.his loan has now expired and he has now rejoined his club for pre season! Not very sexy or exciting I know but probably closer to the truth! But the point is ravel is never going to have a chance to prove himself while he is subjected to such levels of press intrusion and media attention. We should all let him and the club get on with it! COYI!
