More on Cole`s Villa Move!

With his time at West Ham United well and truly done, Joe Cole appears to be following the tried and trusted road when it comes to having signed a deal for a new club.

Cole, who made a mere 11 starts under Sam Allardyce last season, apparently turned down several big-money offers from abroad in favour of putting pen-to-paper at Villa Park.

Explaining why, Jose had this to say to the media,

"There`s still a lot more I want to achieve. The fire is still burning in me."

"I want to play at the highest level and win things and Villa fits. It`s an exciting place."

I reckon Joe`s heart might be ruling his head when it comes to winning things at Aston Villa, how about you?

As a villa fan, I have to sadly agree. At least until we get new owners. I do think Joe could be a very good signing for us though. We have loads of youth, exuberance and pace in abundance. We need someone who can protect the ball and pass it accurately. If Joe stays fit, I am sure he can do that
