Zarate Persuaded by Aguero!

It would appear that our first signing of the summer, Mauro Zarate, was convinced that a move to the Premier League was the right thing to do after a talk with Manchester City`s Sergio Aguero.

Zarate, who was the top-scorer in the Argentine League last season, for Velez Sarsfield, has remained friends with Aguero after they played together for the U20 Argentina side which won the Under-20 World Cup in 2007.

Speaking about the conversation, Zarate remarked,

"Sergio told me to come to England because it is the football for me. I hope I can score a lot of goals for West Ham."

And so do we; so do we!
