Noccerino Heading Back to Italy!

The January transfer window saw Sam Allardyce, assisted by those behind the scenes, bring in several players, mostly on loan, to assist in our successful quest to stave off relegation.

It`s probably fair to say that none of them lit up Upton Park to such an extent that the faithful wanted to see every effort made to keep them here for next season, this despite several of these loan players expressing a desire to secure a permanent deal.

One such player is Antonio Noccerino, the Italian midfielder who was on loan from AC Milan.

The 29 year-old made only two starts during his four month spell at the club and will be returning to his parent club but leaving with the following remark,

"I`m sorry fans didn`t see my quality."

Guess that`s the way it is, sometimes these loan moves work out, other times they don`t!
