Adrian - True to his Word

Adrian - True to his Word

Before the game against Spurs, a game which we won 2-0, our Spanish goalkeeper, Adrian, promised that he`d buy a round if West Ham won.

The Spaniard, who has been one of the surprise stars of our season, apparently kept his word.

It seems that ahead of the pre-match press conference for our final game of the season, against Manchester City, Adrian , who`s middle name is San Miguel, made a surprise visit to the press room with a box of San Miguel having, ahead of the reference Spurs game declared,

"Some of the people in my family might have owned San Miguel in the old days! Obviously the players make jokes about it."

"But I promise that if we beat Spurs I will buy a round of San Miguel for the lads."

True to his word, true to his word!
