Bony Could Have Been Ours!

Bony Could Have Been Ours!

Nestling in the tabloid press is something that almost makes you weep.

Down in South Wales, Wilfried Bony has netted 24 goals this season after joining them for a fee of £12 million.

However, it turns out that West Ham could have acquired the services of the prolific striker for as little as £8 million with a source at the club said to have remarked to the media,

"The deal was done - he was ours for £8 million but the manager was totally focused on Andy who had a long injury and has managed two goals."

Like I said it is enough to make you almost weep, except that getting rolled over in our transfer dealings is something we`ve become accustomed to over the decades!
