Seven to Get You Thinking!

As the Hammers contemplate the journey to the West Midlands to take on a West Bromwich Albion side that are not out of the relegation fight, we`ve a few statistics from the record books for you to ponder over:-

1 - The odds on the result being a draw are quite good when you consider that 5 out of the last 6 Premier League meetings between the two sides have ended in draws.

2 - Our record against West Bromwich remains good with us losing just 1 of the last 10 Premier League meetings, that being when West Brom won 3-2 back in September 2008.

3 - West Ham go to the Hawthorns on a poor run of away form having lost 6 out of the last 8, which includes 3 defeats in the last 4.

4 - When West Ham go on the road it`s either a loss or a win. The last 12 league matches have provided 6 wins and 6 defeats.

5 - Can anybody remember when we were keeping clean sheets for fun? West Ham managed 4 on the bounce not that long ago but recent times have seen the Hammers go 9 league matches without a win.

6 - West Ham might take confidence, going into this fixture, from the fact that West Brom have conceded 3 goals in each of their last 3 home games

7 - West Brom haven`t kept a clean sheet, at the Hawthorns, since New Years Day when they beat Newcastle United 1-0.
