A Minutes Applause for Dylan

Yesterday the news broke that young Dylan Tombides had lost his brave fight against testicular cancer.

The young West Ham forward, with one first team appearance to his name, had fought the disease for three years before succumbing to this terrible illness.

This afternoon West Ham United entertains Crystal Palace in a crucial Premier League fixture. Before kick-off it has been announced that a minute`s applause will be held in memory of young Dylan.

Here at Vital West Ham we`re hoping that the youngster is given the send-off he deserves and that the minutes applause is something that affects us all and that on completion a deafening roar drifts out of Upton Park.

Dylan was one of us and deserves nothing less.
