Sam`s Not Impressed!

Sam`s Not Impressed!

I get the feeling that Sam Allardyce was far from impressed at the reception his side got after beating Hull City last night.

Although the Hammers ended their three game losing streak with a 2-1 win over 10-man Hull City, the crescendo of boos that greeted the final whistle told another story, that of displeasure at the performance given by the side Sam manages.

Sam, who cupped his hand to his ear in almost disbelief at the reception, remarked to the media afterwards,

"I`ve never been at a place where I`ve won and got booed."

"At half-time, the players were talking more about fans booing them than the game. Fans affect players - we don`t need them on players` backs when we`ve had three defeats."

"I want the players to play better and take advantage of the 10 men - but you don`t at this level. It`s not an easy task and they should all be very grateful."

I can see Sam`s point but then again, as West Ham United supporter, I can see what some supporters were getting at, this season should have been one where we made strides to improve on the tenth place of last season, instead we`re floundering and pleased we`ve survived but by playing football that is far from attractive and not the way West Ham United normally do things!

I`d appreciate your thoughts!

Ah so sad Sam, what you fail to understand that theres 35,000 in the ground who have more than good money to watch the boring, insipid, lacklustre, one dimensional approach that you bring to our club. Win, lose or draw whoever we play we look like a conference side hanging on for dear life even at home to a 10 man hull team. Sadly you seem not to be able to grasp that we want to play a certain way, the way we always have played, on the floor with some heart. If you can't understand that or bring that to the table then go and manage the harlem globetrotters where your style of tactics will be appreciated. We were in the main not happy when you came in the first place, I hold my hands up and appreciate the job you've done with the defence but without Carroll in the side you are clueless in attack, no movement up front, relying on overhit free kicks and corners. What you have achieved in your time is basically turn us into Bolton Wanderers, please find the Brendan Rodgers DG and sign him up for christ sake, my eyes are starting to bleed on a Saturday afternoon
