Hammers in Chase for Defender

As our season appears to have reached the recovery stage, eyes are being cast towards possible transfer dealings this summer.

This morning speculation, in one leading tabloid, intimates that West Ham United Football Club are one of several clubs who are looking at acquiring the services of the Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom.

The twenty-four year old is currently plying his trade at the Greek outfit Platanias after falling out of favour at the club that holds his registration, FC Dnipro.

As for the other clubs, supposedly eyeing the player up; look no further than Lyon and Werder Bremen.

May the best club win!
