'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And Yesterday Makes 11

Four points out of the six available from the last to matches have given West Ham United supporters renewed hopes that we can beat the drop.

However, what is important is that we appear to have stopped the avalanche of goals we were conceding and have kept two clean sheets in our last two games.

Those two clean sheets make it 11 for the season, more than any other club in the Premier League, something Sam Allardyce chirped about in his post-match chat, remarking,

"That was our 11th clean sheet - more than any other club."

In our hopes of pulling away from the bottom three, that just has to be a positive point to dwell on.
