Hammers to Appeal Carroll Red Card

One negative aspect of our 2-0 win over Swansea City today was the red card Howard Webb showed Andy Carroll.

The incident was a nothing incident with both players getting tangled up.

Following the red card Sam Allardyce has confirmed that West Ham United would appeal and Big Sam also had a few words to say about Webb`s decision, remarking,

'The cruellest and biggest blow that will be paid to me and the rest of West Ham's team is if there is the injustice when we appeal against Andy Carroll's red card."

'There has to be somebody to look at that in the cold light of day and say that is certainly not a red card."

'The last thing we want as a team and club at the moment is losing Andy Carroll for three games for a nothing incident as far as we are concerned.'

Let`s hope the appeal is successful.
