More Injury Woe!

Is there a Premier League out there, this season, who have been so unfortunate with injuries?

After struggling to cobble a defence together for some time and with Andy Carroll, along with several others, side-lined for large periods of the season, you`d have thought we`d have had our quota of injuries.

But apparently not!

Last night we lost two more of our first team squad to injuries with Joe Cole limping off and Mo Diame being carried off the pitch on a stretcher.

It would appear that Cole has a groin injury whilst Diame will be heading off for a scan today on a knee problem.

Discussing the respective players, Big Sam had this to add,

"Joe shouldn`t be too long with his groin."

"Mo`s may not be as serious as we firs thought, so that could be a bonus - but I still think he could be out for a while."

This season just gets worse and worse does it not?
