A Chance to Shine!

A Chance to Shine!

As West Ham United face a quandary!

As we attempt to edge our way past Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup 3rd round tie at the City Ground, this Sunday, there is the likelihood that the starting eleven could have something of an unfamiliar look to it.

Circumstances have contrived whereby Sam Allardyce, courtesy of a mixture of injuries and suspension will only have 14 senior players available for selection.

Talking about the problem, Sam has tried to put a positive spin on things, remarking,

"We have only 14 players available, so the U21`s will be tested."

"Seven or eight players will be given a chance to show what they can do against Forest."

"We will tell the young lads to show us they are good enough to play for West Ham."

"It`s a fantastic chance for them. It`s about them stepping up to the plate and having the mentality to produce their skills at this level."

"For some of them it will be the turning point of their careers if they want it to be."

So go on lads, turn it on, edge past Nottingham Forest and you just never know where it might take you!
