'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We Can Get a Result!

Following on from the 3-1 defeat up at Old Trafford, our next Premier League fixture is another daunting one, a visit from Arsenal on Boxing Day.

It promises to be a clash that sets the pulses racing as we attempt to claw our way away from the dreaded relegation trap door.

Carlton Cole, who came on as a substitute and scored our consolation goal, believes that we can beat Arsenal, remarking to the media after the defeat to Manchester United,

"We need any sort of result we can get against Arsenal. We need to get our home form much better than it is."

"I do feel we have a chance in every game we play, it`s just about capitalizing on our chances."

Indeed it is and as Carlton showed, at Old Trafford, he took his chance very well, with the striker, no win his second spell at the club, remarking,

"I`m happy with the goal because I`ve been practicing one-on-ones."

"I just wish it was a bit earlier so we could have done something with it - so the gloss is taken off scoring at Old Trafford."

Will Carlton get to start against Arsenal, on Boxing Day, or will Sam Allardyce revert back to Modibo Maiga?
