'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Stuff the False #9!

Something to mull over!
Although playing without a striker worked at White Hart Lane, where we gloriously won 3-0, is it responsible for our current lack of goals?

Although it`s probably fair to say, in Andy Caroll`s continued absence, we`re short of top class strikers, is it time to switch back to picking somebody who can put the ball in the net.

It`s okay to rely on the midfielders assisting with goals when they can but when their assistance dries up, it kind of shows.

At Carrow Road, on Saturday, at least we got on the score-sheet but once Norwich netted a second, you just knew, no matter how hard we tried, we`d not match them.

Discussing the drought in front of goal, our club captain Kevin Nolan has remarked to the media,

"It`s like there`s a force field on the opposition goal. I firmly believe if we continue doing what we`re doing it will turn for us and we`ll be smiling instead of these sad faces."

"We can get ourselves back where we belong - and that`s the middle tier of the Premier League."

But let`s not take anything for granted, previous Premier League experience has shown how unforgiving this league can be!
