'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bear With a Sore Head

I`m not sure if anyone out there champions these persistent international breaks, fixtures that break up the regularity of the Premier League.

But once again we`re facing a two week break whilst those vying to reach the 2014 World Cup finals, in Brazil, go about their business whilst those who are either in or out just meander through a few friendly fixtures making more substitutions than really should be allowed.

However, if you are going into an international break on the back of a defeat, it seems an eternity before you are given the chance to correct matters.

Sam Allardyce, it would appear, hates going into the break on the back of a defeat, remarking to reporters,

"I`ll be as miserable as sin for a few days and then I will have to get over it and start getting the lads ready for Chelsea at home."

But doesn`t that Chelsea fixture seem so far off?

There could be a lot made of our current league position it is simply the case that we have had No Striker at all this season. Not into blame but think January cant come soon enough
