'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Morrison Stars Again

There`s no doubting that the star of the show, as far as the England U21 side were concerned last night was our very own Ravel Morrison.

Morrison, blossoming more every game, scored two of the goals in England`s fine 5-0 win over Lithuania with the second of the two being a sparkling affair with the youngster leaving player after player in his wake as he dribbled one in from 35 yards out.

You get the impression that currently, the world is his oyster and after the troubles of the past, troubles that saw him leave Manchester United for a knockdown fee, Morrison is improving with every game and also enjoying his football.

After the 5-0 trouncing of Lithuania, Morrison had a few words for the media, commenting,

'I thought the team performance was good and I thought my performance was good too. No matter what game I go into, I always get nervous but that's sometimes a good thing. I'm very happy with the performance.'

'I've found it great. I've come in and the lads have treated me well and I've got on with everybody. It's a lot different when you're older, everything has been more calm.'

Perhaps that`s what his troubles were all about, a lack of experience!
