Cole on Hammers Return

Cole on Hammers Return

Speculation about a Carlton Cole return to Upton Park had been rife for weeks.

Despite all the talk about being unfit, something just stuck out that sometime in the near future Cole would put pen-to-paper on some kind of deal and that is exactly what has happened with Cole signing a three month short term deal.

Speaking about returning to the club he only left back in May, and for a second spell, Carlton has remarked to the media,

'I feel fit and raring to go and it's time to start knocking on the manager's [Sam Allardyce] door to get some games under my belt. We decided to part ways in the summer, but West Ham and I have ended up together again.'

All we need now for the reunion to be heralded as a success is for Carlton to start scoring those goals again!
