Cloud Cuckoo Land

Cloud Cuckoo Land

Yesterday, another door slammed in the face of Barry Hearn yesterday when an attempt to lever Leyton Oreint into the Olympic Stadium failed.

But, lurking in the sports pages of one tabloid is something that made my blood boil and is another reason why I steer clear of the BBC when it comes to football coverage.

Robbie Savage, he of the girly-bleached mane, reckons that there is the possibility of Leyton Orient and West Ham being in the same division next season.

The former Welsh international turned TV pundit reckons that Orient`s great start, whereby they`ve taken 21 points out of the first 21 available, seems to be a good foundation for promotion.

He also reckons that our failure to be able to score, on a regular basis, due to the absence of Andy Carroll, could see the goal-shy Hammers fall through the relegation trap-door into the Championship, thereby putting us into the same division as Hearn`s Orient!

Cloud cuckoo land springs to mind!
