Carroll - Off to the USA?

Rumours continue to circulate as t the course of action West Ham may take with regards to speeding up the recovery time to get Andy Carroll fit again.

The latest insinuation is that West Ham are considering sending the injured striker to the USA to be treated by medical staff who are familiar with his kind of injury.

It transpires that Carroll`s foot injury isn`t too dissimilar to that which afflicts basketball players.

Discussing the possibility of going down this route, Sam Allardyce is quote in the media as having remarked,

"We will make the decision today. He has been unfortunate that it has reoccurred."
