Carroll Injury Update!

Although the injury to Andy Carroll leaves a gaping hole in our squad, a void that despite our best endeavours we cannot fill, there is one chink of good news relating to the Geordie.

It would seem that our record 19 million buy, will not require surgery on his latest foot injury and it will be a case of just waiting for the injury to heal naturally.

It`s also being reported that Carroll will be packed off to Holland, in a couple of weeks` time, for extensive rehabilitation.

A target date for a comeback is, unfortunately, Christmas at the earliest!
