The opening day victory, over Cardiff City, was most welcome.

But the golden question now relates to the second fixture of the season, next Saturday, against Newcastle United.

Although it is generally accepted that St James Park is a difficult place to visit, West Ham go there knowing that if they can will they`ll have done something they failed to do last season.

Apparently, we were the only Premier League side who failed to register back-to-back Premier League victories last season!
