Will Ashton Return Be Too Late?

Will Ashton Return Be Too Late?

Alan Pardew is feeling the pressure and says he cannot wait for Dean Ashton to return to the team. But will he still be manager when the England international recovers from injury?

If this take-over happens ... and it seems more like 'when' rather than 'if' ... it is rumoured Pardew will be on his way.

Pardew: 'We are only going to get stronger. We have Dean Ashton to come back at Christmas and after the international break Anton Ferdinand will be back, I think Tyrone Mears will be back, possibly John Pantsil and George McCartney will give us an option.

'The squad will look a lot healthier and our defence will strengthen over the next two weeks, which is what we need.'

i hope he stays at your club. Sometimes takeovers can disrupt the whole club.

spurs man here i'm afraid .. not a brain dead gloater I may add. not really doing much better other than the narrow euro win.. just wondered how the true Hammers felt about the Argies introduction. I feel you had a pretty decent squad before with a massive team effort.. that seems to have gone now cos of the reliance on the south americans?
