Carroll - Looking Towards Brazil

Carroll - Looking Towards Brazil

Having signed on the dotted line and, presumably, confirmed that he`s going to give the next six years of his life to West Ham United Football Club, a lot is expected of Andy Carroll.

Our record signing, if he can keep fit, is looking towards a potential place in Roy Hodgson`s World Cup squad for the 2014 Brazil tournament (presuming England qualify).

It`s something Big Sam believes that Andy can achieve with our manager quoted in the media as having remarked,

"I think England coach Roy Hodgson will come and watch Andy and he will create the headlines for West Ham."

"It`s difficult to ignore Andy scoring goals and creating goals when England are so short."

"You can`t look at the England side and see them going to the World Cup without Andy Carroll. If he`s playing and scoring goals he could be first choice come the World Cup."

"We expect him to enhance his reputation even further with West Ham and become one of the major strikers in the country as well as an England regular."

"It`s our hope he`ll produce for West Ham and England."

And so do we!

What is it they say about England winning the World Cup and West Ham United players?
