Hammers in Bent Link

Several news sources are covering the possibility of Darren Bent leaving Aston Villa to return to London.

Bent, who has fallen out of favour a Villa Park, is keen for a London return whilst Villa are keen to get his wages, said to be 65,000 a week , off their accounts.

Sources say that Fulham have tabled a bid, said to be worth 4 million, but it falls short of Villa`s valuation.

However, with Andy Carroll yet to give a decision on whether he wants to stay at Upton Park and with Big Sam hoping that Chelsea allow us to loan Romelu Lukaku, is our interest in Bent as serious as the media are making out?

Bent is on 75k-80k a week, Although he is still an amazing goal scorer, If you give him the chances he'll put them away, Unfortunately we need strikers who can create chances for others and create goals for themselves. Darren Bent would of fitted into the MON era perfectly and I have no doubt we would of broken into the top 4 when we was so close. I think he would fit well for you and at 4m it's hardly nothing for a striker who still has years left. If we played a 4,4,2 with wingers and we got rid of Benteke I would defo want Bent in the team.
Villa 4 Ever
Wow! what was it last season Three goals in 16 games pair him with Carroll and his 7 goals we must be set for Europe! other clubs have strikers that score regularly themselves!
