'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Improving and Progressing

Our target, this season, was always going to be one where it was essential to cement our place in the Premier League.

Having climbed out of the Championship, this time last season via the play-offs establishing ourselves (again) as a top-flight club was what everyone at Upton Park was striving to achieve.

Thankfully, that was exactly what we achieved and now with our Premier League status assured for, at least, another season, its time to build on the foundations in place.

David Sullivan, who along with David Gold, has put his money where his mouth is, has spoken about the framework to ensure progression takes place, with our Sullivan remarking,

"Our planning has already started to make sure next season is even better."

"A crucial factor will be recruiting the right players in the right positions."

"Our aim is to bring in four or five players that will strengthen the squad and provide manager Sam Allardyce with greater options and variety."

"We want to bring in at least one proven goal-scorer to bolster our attack."

Reflecting on those words, I`d say it is going to be quite an exciting summer!
