Hearn Hankers After Ground-Share
Although it is still some time before we`re able to move lock, stock and barrel to the Olympic Stadium, at Stratford, there could still be a rocky road ahead.
Just down the road, at Brisbane Road, Barry Hearn is refusing to give up the fight and has, once again, stipulated that he believes that Leyton Orient should, as something of a compromise, be allowed to ground-share with West Ham.
In the tabloid press today, Hearn is quoted as having recently remarked,
"We are not going to be bullied by the big boys."
"We have enough resources and friends to take this fight well into the next decade. We want a ground-share and think we have an unanswerable case for that being the real legacy of the Olympics."
I don`t disagree Barry, if you want to ground-share then feel free to contribute to the cost of developing the stadium to accommodate football!
