'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And Then There Was Just Sam

Strange how things turn out!

Last May, we had to squirm our way through the Premier League entrance door, whilst those ahead of us in the Championship, Reading and Southampton, were welcomed with open arms after achieving automatic promotion.

Now, less than a year later, we`re the only club out of the three promoted teams that has kept faith with their manager.

Southampton ditched Nigel Adkins a few weeks ago whilst, yesterday, Reading parted company with Brian McDermott.

Does hitting the panic button work or should we be preaching longevity?
