Second Class Citizens!

If anybody doubted that football supporters are treated like second class citizens, then read on.

Up at the Britannia Stadium last Saturday, it is being reported by one red-top publication, that a West Ham supporter was refused entry to the ground and then subsequently barred.

Apparently, the said supporter was carrying a newspaper and when asked to give it up, by a steward, refused.

It seems the steward was of the opinion that the reference supporter could use the newspaper as an offensive weapon or he could have set fire to it and caused a serious incident.

Quite rightly, the reference supporter pointed out that numerous people were being let into the ground carrying match day programmes, but to no avail as was subsequently refused entry and barred.

Anyone out there still got those doubts about football supporters STILL being treated as second class citizens!
