'If It's Football, It's Vital'

20 Years!

Incredibly it is now twenty years since the legendary Bobby Moore passed away.

It just goes to show how time flies and how the sands of time flow quicker as you get older.

Today at Wembley Stadium, Swansea take on Bradford City in the Capital One Cup. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Bobby`s untimely demise, the Football Association will be flying the St George`s Cross flag at half-mast.

Here at Vital West Ham United, we hope that those in attendance take time out, just like we will today, to remember a gentleman of our game and, still, the only Englishman to lift the World Cup trophy.

Bobby Moore - RIP

I briefly met Bobby in 1980 when he was manager at Oxford City and although I was only about 14, he seemed a really nice guy and happy to see me and those I was with
