'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Di Canio Return (Yet)

All those hankering after a situation whereby the former Hammers hero, Paulo Di Canio, will take over the Hammers hot-seat, are set to be disappointed.

Although it is easy to be swept away in the romanticism of the notion, Big Sam is the present incumbent of the hot-seat and although his contract situation has generated numerous column inches, it I snow being intimated that he will be remaining at Upton Park come the end of the season.

This morning rumours are filtering through that David Gold has decreed that there is no job for Di Canio at the Boleyn Ground and that talks will soon be opened relating to a new deal for Big Sam.
