'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Eccentric or Mad?

Although rumours of a return to West Ham United, in a managerial role, have fast been quashed, the tales surrounding Paulo D Canio continue to make interesting reading.

The maverick Italian, currently out of a job after resigning at Swindon, collected his belongings from the County Ground in a rather unusual manner.

It seems that Paulo decided he`d creep back to his old office, under cover of darkness, at 00:45, to retrieve what he perceived were his belongings.

The next morning, Swindon Town officials, upon entering Paulo`s office to find the walls stripped bare of photos, believed they`d been robbed.

However, after viewing the CCTV footage of the previous night, they were soon to discover that it was in fact Paulo and his associates that had used their security access codes to enter the stadium.

What a hero, what a legend!
