Another Lambert Bid?

Another Lambert Bid?

That great who`ll be playing up front for us next season conundrum is featured in the tabloid press this morning.

With Marouane Chamakh and Andy Carroll on loan and with Carlton Cole approaching the end of his contract (so we believe), the press are under the impression that Big Sam (if he`s still in charge) will be giving Southampton a call about bringing Rickie Lambert to West Ham.

Having, reportedly, had a bid for the striker turned down in January, the red-top press are insistent that Big Sam is intent on bringing the leading English born goal-scorer, in the Premier League, to East London.

Whether it`ll happen or not remains to be seen!
