'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Relegation Fight!

Our home form continues to stand us in good stead when it comes to our position in the Premier League.

If we can continue to do as we have been doing at home, for the remainder of the season, then we shouldn`t be fearful of relegation.

However, our away form remains a serious concern, quite frankly it is pants.

Speaking about looking ahead to ensure we don`t get sucked into a relegation end of season finale, our club captain, Kevin Nolan, on the back of th e2-1 defeat at Villa Park, on Sunday, has remarked to the media,

"We`ve two weeks between matches and when you lose a game you want to get back out there as soon as possible."

"But it gives us a chance to relax a bit this week, look at what we`ve done this season and what we have to do between now and the end of the season."

"By the time the Tottenham game comes around we`ll be ready and raring to go for a home local derby. We`ll be looking forward to it."

We certainly will. The energy banks will have been restored, courtesy of a six day break in Dubai, and is there a better prospect than a game against Spurs to look forward to?
