If you were to offer a few thoughts on the outcome of the game at Villa Park yesterday, I doubt they`d be as succinct and to the point as a Tweet from David Gold.

Mr Gold, tweeted,

"Disappointed for the fans who travelled hundreds of miles on a miserable day to lose to a team in the bottom three. We should do better."

We damn well should, especially against a team that looked far from Premier League class for large parts of the game.
