Too Little Too Late!

Too Little Too Late!

And so it`s another away defeat to reflect upon.

Big Sam must have thought, like us, that we could get something from the trip to Villa Park, but it wasn`t so with not even a late push being enough to rescue a point, a late surge that had Sam Allardyce remarking in his post-match interview,

'We have put ourselves in a poor position and gone 2-0 down but we created the chances to make it 2-2 at least. But it was more down to great goalkeeping as we hit the target but he has made some really good saves."

'We can't play any better than we did and can't dominate any more than we did but if we had put the ball in the net then it would've been a very different situation."

'This was a fantastic opportunity to pick up points and we should've done so.'

We should have because, for some periods, we looked so much better than them!
