'If It's Football, It's Vital'

That Option!

With Andy Carroll back to fitness and scoring again, the big question doing the rounds is whether West Ham United will opt to sign the striker on a permanent basis.

Following the strikers winning goal, against Swansea City, Big Sam remained coy when pressed on whether the Hammers would take up the option, simply remarking,

"I think it`s about Andy enjoying his football between now and the end of the season, and then asking himself; 'What have I achieved here this season?"

"We just hope he can now have an injury-free 13 games. If he can produce that form when he hasn`t played for nine weeks, I`ll look forward to what he can do when he is fully match fit."

Our view is that Carroll has a lot to do, in those last 13 games, if he is to be signed on a permanent deal!
