Carroll to See Some Action

In our match preview we speculated that Andy Carroll may play a part in the fixture against Swansea this afternoon and Sam Allardyce has confirmed that fact.

Speaking ahead of the fixture this afternoon, Big Sam has remarked,

"He hasn`t played a competitive game apart from the 15 minutes or so against Fulham after eight weeks out, so he`s not ready for a full 90 minutes but he is ready to take part."

Anyone care to guess on just how long his participation will last?

I am beginning to worry for Carroll as a long term player. are his injuries going to make any club think long and hard about signing him on a long term deal?
