Diame - Not as Straight Forward As It Seems!

Yesterday the inference was that if Mome Diame got through transfer deadline day without departing Upton Park there could be a new contract signed shortly.

It appeared the club were desperate to remove that release clause that has caused so much anxiety whilst also improving Diame`s salary after his more than decent start as a West Ham player.

Sadly, if one red-top tabloid has its facts correct, negotiations are far from going smoothly with West Ham baulking at Diame`s, apparent, demand for an 80,000 a week salary.

You just get the impression that this whole scenario is going to result in a move away from Upton Park, for Diame, sooner rather than later!
